DRconnection is a data repository created by the Wisconsin Medical Society (Society) to provide accurate, complete information about Wisconsin doctors through one convenient resource. The “Find a Physician” function of the DRconnection is intended for use by the general public to allow quick access to information on physicians.

DRconnection or any of its data, listings or other constituent elements may not be downloaded, republished, resold or duplicated, in whole or in part, for commercial or any other purposes or for purposes of compiling mailing lists or any other lists of physicians. The use of DRconnection to establish independent data files or compendiums of statistical information is prohibited. Unauthorized use of this Web site may give rise to a claim for damages and/or be a criminal offense.

The Society undertakes reasonable efforts to keep the information contained in DRconnection accurate. The Society compiles such information from numerous and varied sources and may experience reporting or processing errors or delay. Physicians have the opportunity to view and modify their data using the DRconnection Web site. Physicians can also e-mail changes and corrections to the Society. Although the information found on this Web site is believed to be reliable, no warranty, expressed or implied, is made regarding the accuracy, adequacy, completeness, legality, reliability, or usefulness of any information, either isolated or in the aggregate. The information is provided "as is.” All warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to, the implied fitness for a particular purpose, freedom from contamination by computer viruses, and non-infringement of proprietary rights, are disclaimed. Changes may be periodically made to the information; these changes will be incorporated into this Web site in a timely manner.

Inclusion of a physician in DRconnection is not and does not imply referral, endorsement or recommendation by the Society, nor does the omission of any individual indicate Society disapproval. In no event shall the Society be liable to anyone for any decision made or action taken in reliance on the information contained in DRconnection. The Society is not responsible for or liable for any damages resulting from DRconnection being unavailable to users for any reason.

Use of DRconnection by hospitals, managed care organizations, PPOs or other commercial entities or individuals to verify the credentials of physicians is prohibited. The database of physician information that drives DRconnection does not contain sufficient information with which to verify physician credentials under the standards of the Joint Commission (JCAHO), National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) or the Utilization Review Accreditation Committee (URAC).

The breach of any of these terms and conditions will automatically terminate the right to use this Web site.
